CLIMAQUA® products are manufactured in different countries. The origin, namely the production of natural stone fountains, is in Asia, among others in China, because there this craft is mastered and the necessary resources are available. Thus, the main production site of CLIMAQUA is also located in the beautiful province of Fujian, CN for over 20 years. The factory is locally based in a small town, all employees live in the surrounding area and work part or full time.

In this small town, our factory is considered a model company and a popular employer due to its healthy development and modern operation. This allows us to recruit and continuously motivate the most talented workers. The long way to the big city, where huge factory halls are waiting, is thus spared. The local trade is supported.

We pay special attention to high safety and quality requirements at work and take care of compliance with BSCI and similar standards at all production sites.

Most of the products of CLIMAQUA® are natural unique pieces. Each piece is different from the other. Every object has beautiful and unattractive sides, that's nature. CLIMAQUA® uses this imperfection consciously. Natural stains in the stone, unusual coloring or brittle spots, as long as they do not affect the function of the product, are not manufacturing defects and are not covered by warranty. CLIMAQUA® products are handmade and not mass-produced by machine - another component that gives the object its very own character. Who at CLIMAQUA® products looks for irregularities, finds them.

Yes! The fact that water in the room has a calming effect on the mind and body is discussed and confirmed not only in our Western science, but also in Feng Shui (the doctrine deals with flow of life energy - the Chì.) and, among others, in Chinese medicine. It is agreed that nature, especially water (lakes, rivers, streams) creates preferential conditions for people to collect and organize their thoughts. An indoor fountain stimulates the senses as well, because it sends visual and acoustic signals to the brain to be surrounded by nature. 

Nature makes us feel safe. It is no coincidence that in many spaces where we focus on the mind (such as yoga, meditation or massage studios) water features play a central role in the interior design.

Splashing water (not all fountains splash loudly) can also soothingly drown out unpleasant noises such as ventilation systems, fans (e.g. loud computers / servers), street noise or ticking clocks, as well as tinitus.

Yes. Especially in heated rooms, water evaporates quickly and thus noticeably humidifies the air. Depending on the model, this effect varies in magnitude. The larger the water-covered surface, the stronger the effect. Very effective humidifiers are  CLIMAQUA® water walls   .

Yes. The flowing water magnetically attracts dirt and dust particles from its surroundings and thus cleans the air. The dirt gets into the water flow and eventually ends up in the tank. The tank should therefore be cleaned regularly. Improved indoor climate has a positive effect on health. The larger the fountain, the stronger the effect. There are hardly better natural air purifiers, than the   CLIMAQUA® water walls   .

Especially in urban areas, we struggle with the problem of limescale in the tap water. However, there are many ways to perfectly protect the well from calcification.

1. if possible, let the fountain run permanently with water. Thus, the water circulates constantly, lime and dirt can not dry in the stone.

2. clean the fountain at least every 3 months and replace the water. Important: Do not use soap, can cause foam.

2.  CLIMAQUA® AQUA SOFT  is our remedy against lime: 2 capfuls to 1 L of water AQUA SOFT, change the water and wash the water tank 4 times a year - once every 2 months for very hard water.

3. if you live in the countryside you have less to worry about: there the tap water usually has a low water hardness and can be filled directly from the tap into the tank.

4. use rainwater, which does not contain lime.

Use distilled or distillate water (available at hardware stores or gas stations).

6. use a water filter such as osmosis filter or BRITA.

Can you feel any vibrations at the pump? If yes, this is a good sign, it is still running! If no, please check the following points: 

- Is the plug connected to power?
- Does the on/off switch on the cable work?
- Does the well have enough water in the tank? The water level should be at least 2-3cm above the pump.
- Is the flow control (wheel on pump and/or regulator) open on the hose?
- Is the hose kinked or broken?
- Is the pump possibly clogged (open the pump at the front and clean the propeller) or defective?

If the problem persists, the pump may need to be replaced. Perhaps it has run dry and burned out.

Yes. The fountain can be operated without pause. It is good for the fountain if the water is always circulating. Thus, less lime and dirt (algae) settles on the surface. In addition, this is the best way to positively influence the indoor climate with the fountain. But regularly check the water level, and make sure that there is always enough water in the tank.

No. If the pump runs dry, it will burn out and be severely damaged.

Yes. CLIMAQUA® fountains are all built with plug-in systems so that 95% of all parts can be replaced.

One filling burns for about 2 hours (applies to 150ml and 400ml).
