Our history
The natural connection of two worlds
The family business dyncoAG is located in picturesque Bern, Switzerland. It has been passionately dedicated to the wholesale of garden and home products since 1983. But that is by no means all.
The own brand CLIMAQUA® is the result of a unique collaboration between father Erwin, son Yves and the special relationship with the Chinese couple Winnie and Evan from Zhangzhou City.
Yves, with degrees in management and design, is the creative mind behind CLIMAQUA®. He has enthusiastically led the company since 2018, and his talented sister Stéphanie has also been on board since 2016.
Winnie and Evan bring their years of experience in working with natural materials such as stone, wood and metal. Together, they established a production facility for CLIMAQUA® in a small Chinese town in 2010.
In close cooperation between Switzerland and China, the team develops a diverse range of products. These include the fascinating CLIMAQUA® indoor and outdoor fountains, which have been the trademark since the beginning, the inviting CLIMAQUA® fireplaces, which have been providing warmth and coziness since 2011, the stylish CLIMAQUA® planters, which have been bringing the beauty of nature into the home since 2014, and the exquisite CLIMAQUA Boutique line, which has been rounding off the range decoratively and functionally since 2015.
Most products are made from natural slate, a fascinating material estimated to be 200-450 million years old. In the CLIMAQUA® production facility, these natural materials are carefully processed to create unique products for the garden and the home.
Today, around 40 dedicated people are part of the CLIMAQUA® team. But this partnership between Switzerland and China goes far beyond business. It is a close and valuable friendship that has grown over the years. Yves is godfather to Winnie and Evan's first son Weizhuo, which also connects the two families on a personal level.
